A little site in for a big future is Mrs. O, a blog dedicated to the now intensely important business of keeping tabs on what and who Michelle Obama is wearing. While Mrs. O's election night style prediction, a Maria Pinto, didn't materialize, they at least got the color right. We'll see if they do any better calling the inaugural gown.

I went to the site and read more about the Election Night dress that I didn't like so much. and saw it pictured on a model without the cardigan thingie that Mrs. O wore, and I thought it looked much better without than with.
I'll admit to having some misgiving about the texture mix. The knit with the satin? A little disconcerting. The overall structure, color, line and length really worked for her. I still say wow.
